⚠️ Important Information

Before you proceed with deleting your account, please note:

  • This action is permanent and irreversible
  • All your data will be permanently deleted
  • You will lose access to all your listings and messages
  • Your profile and transaction history will be removed
  • Any active listings will be automatically removed

What Gets Deleted?

When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed:

  • Profile Information: Name, email, phone number, profile picture
  • Listings: All your active and inactive ads
  • Messages: All chat conversations and communications
  • Favorites: Your saved items and wishlist
  • Transaction History: Records of your purchases and sales
  • Connections: Your followers and following list
  • Settings: All your preferences and customizations

How to Delete Your Account

To delete your account, you have two options:

Option 1: Delete via Mobile App

  1. Open the Sellbuytm app on your device
  2. Go to your Profile
  3. Navigate to Settings
  4. Select Account Settings
  5. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  6. Enter your password to confirm
  7. Tap "Confirm Deletion"

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you're unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to: support@sellbuytm.com
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include the following in your email:
    • Your registered email address
    • Your registered phone number
    • Reason for deletion (optional)
  4. We will process your request within 5-7 business days
  5. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete

Data Retention

While we delete your personal data immediately upon account deletion, please note:

  • Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory compliance purposes
  • Backup copies may exist for up to 30 days before permanent deletion
  • Anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes
  • Data shared with other users (like messages) may remain visible to them

Alternative to Deletion

If you're concerned about privacy but don't want to permanently delete your account, consider these alternatives:

  • Deactivate your account: Temporarily disable your account without losing data
  • Adjust privacy settings: Control who can see your information
  • Delete specific listings: Remove individual ads instead of your entire account
  • Update your information: Change your personal details or contact information
